GameGal in the New York Times!
Just a quick note to tell you that everyone's favorite women n' technology site was featured in the New York Times last week. We've been in tons of other papers and magazines, but it's always nice to make it into the hometown paper.
It was in the Circuits section on Thursday, Feb 5th. Noah Shachtman interviewed Libe about a new gaming peripheral. You can read the whole article at the links below, but here's the highlight:
Whatever the device's fitness merits, Libe Goad, the editor of GameGal.com, an online magazine, doubts the kiloWatt will sell well. "As cool as it is, I'd be extremely surprised if a high-priced, gimmicky peripheral like the kiloWatt would ever become anything more than a novelty among the gaming set," she said by e-mail.
