Get Ready for the Rise of the DVD DJs!

For people who turn their noses up at the thought of DJs spinning CDs instead of vinyl, you might want to stop reading right now. Pioneer has a new product that just might be the end of traditional DJing as we know it (ok, we’re exaggerating).

The DVJ-X1 is a DVD turntable, that, besides playing CDs like the classic CDJ-1000, also has video outputs and lets you mix and scratch DVDs. Should be available in the Spring, for upwards of $3K.

Wait ‘til you see our hot new Sex and the City/Curb Your Enthusiasm remix.
