XP Update Seems Like a Good Idea

Microsoft has a beta version of its second “Service Pack” for Windows XP available for download. What’s a Service Pack, you ask? It’s a big collection of bug fixes and improvements, too large to be called just a regular update.

While this is still a beta, not the final release version, we’ve read that it’s stable and offers many fixes that you might appreciate, including a pop-up blocker for Internet Explorer and easier-to-use security features.
